Gaze upon towering mountain peaks, watch for sea otters, harbor seals, whales, bears, mountain goats, birds, bald eagles and more in their natural environment. See massive rivers of glacier ice so close you can hear the thunderous sound of the ice calving into the ice-filled fjords. The 26 Glacier Cruise (5-hours) follows the Harriman Expedition route through Esther Passage, College, and Harriman Fjord. The Glacier Quest Cruise (3.75-hours) explores Shotgun Cove and Blackstone Bay.

    Allow 2.5 - 3 hours to drive from Kenai to Whittier. Turn off the Seward Highway after Milepost 78 onto the Portage Glacier Road. Continue to the Whittier Tunnel which opens 30 minutes after the hour.
